Jute Fabric

Jute FabricJute fiber is another one of the products that we carry that is very similar to burlap. In fact they are both made from fibres from the same plant. It is a natural, coarse vegetable fibre that is sometimes used to manufacture twine, a product which we proudly carry. Because it is easily manufactured from a plant, it is very affordable and useful for a numbe of projects.

Jute has historically (and still is) primarily been harvested in India in Bengal and also in Bangladesh. Over 1,846,000 tonnes are produced in India each year with over 800,000 in Bangladesh. Find Inspiration on Pinterest for decor ideas using jute fabric.
