Real Wedding: Using White Burlap

We just got an e-mail today from a customer named Sue, who wanted to share what she made with the stuff she made in June.

Here is what she sent us:

"I would like to share how I used the white burlap that I purchased from burlapfabric.com in June. For my son and new daughter-in-law's wedding I created 35 bench covers and a 45 foot aisle runner with one roll of burlap. Each bench cover and the aisle runner was to be edged with purple bias binding, but when the bias binding did not arrive in time I quickly revised my plan and just the ends of each bench and the aisle runner received the treatment. The addition of purple satin ribbon and bias binding gave the burlap the appearance of elegant linen. Looking back I would have edged the entire runner with grosgrain or satin ribbon and treated just the ends of the bench covers as I did. Yes, burlap is messy to work with, but it was a beautiful addition to the outdoor wedding.

Thank you for your product!"
